“My working process utilizes the grid, a formal framework that provides structure and boundaries. This is a starting point from which I can bend, twist, or simply alter my artwork. I observe and am inspired by the rhythm and movement found in nature, as well as in man-made environments. I create movement and space through layering, variations in tone, color, line, and texture.
